weddings / engagement
hi! you’ve found your way to my super-secret weddings and engagement page, which means we’ve probably already spoken about documenting your wedding, or booking an engagement shoot. i hope the below photos show a little vignette of the type of images i’m used to making for my couples on their special day(s). i am happy to work in a structured environment, to help plan for posing and key moments, or to be a fly on the wall and observe quietly. it’s your day and i’d like for my involvement with you to be as comfortable as possible.
for transparency, my pricing for wedding work is typically as follows:
full-day wedding coverage (up to 10 hrs) starts at $3,700. this includes a second shooter (Nashville only), and a personalized digital gallery where you may view, download, and print your delivered images. additional rental fees, travel arrangements, and other costs may be added to your quote.
a special $500 discount may be applied to weddings covered digitally where the couple elects to have their images delivered in black and white. this speeds up the post-processing time enough where it may be to mutual benefit. a credit for up to 30 images delivered in color may be redeemed to make sure there is some documentation in full spectrum.
full-day wedding coverage on 35mm film (stills) (up to 10hrs) starts at $4,500. this includes a second shooter (shooting digital), but is still delivered as a digital gallery where you may view, download, and print your images on demand. your negatives may be mailed to you upon request for an additional $50.
film coverage for weddings typically yields fewer photos, and carries with it the typical risks of an older format, subject to lighting, temperature, and chemical post-processing. i find this process to be very rewarding, but understand that some couples would rather stay in the world of digital photos.
to add a second shooter to a full film day is an additional $750. this allows me to pay them, and supply them with enough film to get through the day.
to book a wedding, i charge a non-refundable 50% deposit on your estimate in order to lock in your wedding date. the remaining 50% must be paid by day-of-event.
